Summary
Jimmy had been sent on a mission to save Earth from a new deadly virus from space. The mission was always known to be a one-way ticket, and Jimmy would never make it back. Floating alone, years from his home planet, Jimmy is found by the Galactic Search and Rescue team: a group of intelligent aliens with technology he had never seen before. Now he could recover from his loneliness in any way possible. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad to be stuck in space like this.

“This guy you’ve been sneaking out to meet! I mean, c’mon, three months and you haven’t even introduced us? What kind of boyfriend are you?”

“Tango!” He cried, mortified, now fully facing him on the bed.

According to Council records, the Fulgur Ovium Zedaph Pleighs and his two co-workers - the Ignis Petra Tango of the Tek Clan and the Inferni ImpulseSV - are officially called Sapience Outreach Specialists. They jokingly refer to themselves though as the First Contact Crew. It’s up to them to determine the sentience and sapience of alien races that either volunteer or are brought to them by the Council.
And recently the Council has brought them one hell of a challenge: determine the sentience and sapience of a recently discovered species called Terrans using an individual that they nickname Blue.Meanwhile Skizz just wants to be treated like a person by the aliens that abducted him and go back to Earth…

There is something calming about redstone.
Sure it can be frustrating when it doesn’t work or one crumb of dirt gums up a contraption for hours - but the feeling of it staining his fingers, the fizzle in the air as it is powered, and the rhythmic click, thump, and whirl of components - Tango wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
