Sighing he exits the page and keeps on scrolling. Nothing that is open catches his interest and the rest are closed. He's wondering how stale celery would taste dipped in pickle juice when his eyes land on Irina's Kitchen once more.
There's a phone number under the address. Shane bites his lower lip and wonders if he should call.
A woman with an accented voice picks up after the 5th ring.
“Hello?”
“Uh, hey, are you guys still open?”

Summary
Rozanov's so… professional. He's all grown up and not at all like the boy he once was. The polite smile never leaves his face even when he's looking at Shane.
"You are very lucky," Rozanov tells him, "That your concussion is only mild. Seeing me is a not so good thing, okay?"
Shane sighs through his nose, pouts. "Yeah… okay. But… I haven't seen you in a million years. Why are you a doctor now? You should be playing hockey—" He wiggles a little, grins sideways— "With me."

Summary

Summary

At the sound of her singsong voice, the omega glared up at them through the window. Shane couldn’t tear his eyes away. Pale eyes met his own with a palpable fury. It took everything in Shane’s power to not let his emotions seep through his words or actions; he became immeasurably grateful he had worn scent patches for the occasion.

“This is my fucking nightmare,” Shane says again, quieter now, like if he lowers his voice the thing itself might shrink into something he can get his hands around. “This is my actual fucking nightmare.”
“Okay,” Ilya says, voice gentle but firm. “Then maybe, it’s time to wake up?”
Shane inhales. The breath stutters halfway in, catches, then forces its way through anyway. He lets it out and back in slowly. Then he does it again, and again and two more times.
When Ilya speaks again his words come slower.
“The girl,” He says gently. “That was… your sister?”
