Summary
To anyone who might ask, Valentine only wanted to have an interview with infamous serial killer Ghost for her thesis.
To anyone who might dig a little deeper, they mind find out that Valentine’s reasons and motivations aren’t as pure as they seem.
And that, Ghost sees it clearly. He knows Valentine doesn’t just want to write a paper. He knows there’s something in those lifeless eyes. He knows she’s seeking something from him, something that only he can provide her.
Ghost usually doesn’t care about people’s sob stories, but there was something in Valentine’s mismatched eyes that hooked him in, rendering him unable to leave her alone.

He expected snobby people who would boss him around, maybe even having to tend to spoiled little brats like a babysitter.
But nothing could have prepared him for you – because in a way, you were so much worse than anything he had expected. And the cruelest irony was that he found himself irresistibly drawn towards you.
