A baby.
A nephilim.
The half-angel half-human stares up at him with large, golden eyes. Its tan, chubby cheeks morphing into a wide toothless smile, and squeals.
“Charlie.”
“I don’t know Dad!"]

Charlie and Vaggi find a half-angel half-human baby. Feeling his parental instincts going wild and having knowledge of half-angels, Lucifer offers to take care of her. It all goes well, too well, until they are attacked.
Injured and powers draining, Lucifer summons a portal to take him and the baby somewhere safe by Charlie's command.
Only, the portal leaves him in 1930, powerless and floundering. Oh, and past Alastor is here! How nice. Gosh, Lucifer hates that guy.

Vaggie convinces Lucifer to go confront Vox, but on the way Lucifer considers instead saving Alastor in order to have backup, and to make Charlie proud! But Vox was a bit more observant than he expected, and it does not take long for Vox to put the king under his spell...
But maybe Alastor can cast a bigger one.

Summary
Poor little Lucifer just wanted to enjoy the morning sun and how it feels against his skin and fur before it got to hot outside. He watched the way the dew from the plants come forth and sparkle in the early morning light. How the morning breeze rustled through his hair. He stretches his limbs out, preparing for the day ahead and the chore he’ll have to do.
And yet somehow he’s here, stuck between these two bulls as they bickered with each other.
The darker blue bull was the first one to step up to the fence Lucifer was leaning against. He had wanted to speak with Lucifer about something and to Lucifer credit, he hadn't thought much of it. He was still enjoying the early morning
And then Alastor stepped in front of the two.
And he just had to say something to Vox.

Summary
Despite Lucifer's insistence that the situation was accidental, Alastor believed it to be a deliberate act of cruelty. Regardless of the circumstances, they are now stranded in 1929 New Orleans as humans. Through a series of misadventures and unfortunate events, a mutual attraction blooms that neither will admit to as they endeavor to find a means of returning to Hell.
"Alastor's eyes, now a shocking, familiar shade of brown behind round spectacles, widened in a mixture of horror and fury. He opened his mouth to unleash a torrent of insults, but the only sound that escaped was a choked gasp. The air felt thin, the sunlight a harsh, unbearable presence on his skin. He felt a deep, profound sense of displacement, a feeling that had been alien to him for centuries.
Lucifer, in his human form, simply smiled. It wasn't the condescending smirk of the King of Hell, but a gentle, almost empathetic expression. "Welcome back to New Orleans, Alastor. Let's take a little walk down memory lane, shall we?""
