—Que quieres salir conmigo, ja, ja.
En lugar de reírse, en vez de pedirle que no dijera tonterías o salir huyendo, el sonrojo de Till se volvió más profundo, sus ojos brillaron de emoción y su brazo volvió a rodearlo con timidez. Ivan no pudo hacer más que respirar tembloroso, se secó las manos sudadas en el suéter para calmarse un poco, para recordar que no estaba soñando.
—¿Entonces me aceptas otra cita?
Till es el objeto de estudio favorito de Ivan, lo ha observado por años y lo conoce bastante bien. Siempre ha sabido lo imparable que es, pero nunca esperó que llegara el día en el que le daría vuelta a su mundo y lo invitaría a una cita. Salir con él es como un sueño que se niega a creer, pero Till continúa sacudiéndolo con sus muestras de afecto, así que a Ivan no le queda de otra más que admitir que quizás su estudio no era tan imparcial como creía.

Till was nineteen, and Ivan twenty, when it became clear that Till was just a late bloomer when he failed to emerge from his bedroom for breakfast or morning lessons. He didn’t have an excused absence, and Ivan was considered trustworthy enough by the teachers that his offer to check on Till before any call was made to his guardian was listened to.
Ivan doesn't change. Till doesn't either. Until he does.

Summary
It’s a month after the X-Games. Bradley has been kicked out of his frat, and is living off campus. He’s going through the thick of depression. Sleeping in, skipping classes, and his father is not pleased.
Max, meanwhile, is extreamly anxious about his upcoming Math exam, and after much convincing, Bradley agrees to tutor him for the upcoming week before the test.
However, after an unsettling phone call from his father, Bradley is forced to show Max his vulnerable side, and has to grip to him as if he’s the last friend on Earth. Perhaps he is.
