It started with his coffee. One day Dean crawled out of bed at his usual 6AM rising time, made his way to the kitchen, still half asleep, and found that his usual coffee - black, no sugar - was already waiting for him on the counter. Maybe Cas just made himself a mug and left him one too just because he knew Dean was about to emerge. No big deal.
He didn't want to think about the warmth pooling low in his stomach at the gesture.
