Bilbo Baggins did not go running out his door for want of an adventure, he went running out his door because of a terribly worded contract and a laughable quest that somehow held the spark of other.
In this story, it is not the Tooks that held fae blood in their family tree, it is the Baggins, and theirs is so much closer to the surface.- Language:

“HELP!” she yelled as the man whipped around. “SOMEBODY HELP! ZEUS IS TRYING TO KIDNAP ME!”
“What? No!” the mortal said, eyes growing panicked as he looked up at the sky. “I’m not even Zeus anymore. I’m Dom and I have nothing to do with this situation-”
“HE SAID HE WANTS TO KILL ME BECAUSE MY BROTHER IS THE REASON HE’S MORTAL!”
“I did not say that!” Dom said, raising his hands as if that might squash the words. “Shh! Stop it!”
Estelle threw herself on the ground, rolling in the dirt. “HELLO, GODS! IT IS ME, ESTELLE! I HEAR I AM VERY IMPORTANT! AND I AM BEING MURDERED BY THIS MAN!”
Dom swore loudly as he looked around. “For the love of- fuck. Fine. I’ll help you!” he shouted. Estelle stopped her screeching to crack open an eye. “Just stop it, okay? I’ll help you.”
Good. Estelle sat up, dusting herself off.
“That’s very nice of you,” she told him.

“Hold the questions, Grover,” another voice said, as smaller hands gripped his shirt and started dragging him past the invisible line drawn by the pine tree. Right, Percy thought, the weird cult kids. “We have to get him into camp.”
Another set of hands joined him and with the extra support he made it into the valley, spotting lights on in a farmhouse in the distance. A small part of Percy registered that he wasn’t getting rained on anymore even though he could still hear the storm raging in the distance. Instead, his gaze locked with a pair of cool grey eyes framed by pieces of blonde curls. “How did you get here? Who is your godly parent?”
He could hear his mother’s voice echoing in his ears, months and months ago: no one can know, Percy. Even the gods.
“I don’t know.”

The first Impa, back before Hyrule was founded, back when this land was simply called The Surface, was a tall, imposing figure robed in black, tasked by the Goddess Herself to protect whatever mortal, human form She took when they would eventually meet again.
There is exactly one surviving record of her existence, a cracked stone slab where a tall black figure with white hair leads a smaller blonde in pink to a blessed pond surrounded by sacred waterfalls, inside of the secret room in the Elder’s house that only a select few people know about. They do not know who painted such a picture, and they do not know how the slab has survived this long without crumbling into dust.
