Summary
After dropping out of college, Mike Wheeler takes a job opening as a light-keeper. The town where the lighthouse stands is foggy and eerie. No one seems very welcoming to him other than the niece of the recently departed previous light-keeper—and the woman who offered Mike the job—Robin. However, even she seems off. As he settles into the small coastal town, Mike keeps noticing things, including the odd behavior of townsfolk as well as the many missing ones, and slowly he unwraps a mystery of razor-sharp scales and even sharper teeth.
Or:
"Maybe I'm just a little paranoid. I didn't get a lot of sleep last night, and it's been a long day, so excuse me, but…is there anything I need to worry about? Anything or anyone to look out for? Be honest."
Robin thought for a moment, looking down at the ground, before speaking, "… just, don't stay out too late. There are coyotes that come out at night. You can hear them if you listen closely."
Mike reached into his pocket absentmindedly, feeling the folded up paper of the siren. He nodded. "Okay, thank you, then, Robin."

Summary
He lifted his head from the sink, not bothering to turn it off, and looked around, as if he'd be able to spot the source of the sound, though he knew it was futile. Still no one. Still empty. Then, he heard it again, louder and threatening. A deep voice reverberating off the walls of his mind. “Michael,” It boomed, clear as day.
Or:
While at the hospital, Mike’s rampant headaches get to him, making it hard to think. While in the bathroom, trying to clear his mind, a certain someone who’s been keeping close watch makes himself known in the form of a vision of Mike’s past. (A one shot where Vecna visits Mike)

Summary
“‘Not friends. I don’t want to be friends,’ Mike practically whispered. Will had to strain his ears to hear him. The smile Mike had previously worn now faded, and his eyes darkened.”

Summary
"I really wasn't sneaky?" Keith asked, disappointed. He tilted his head and frowned, which made the other boy chuckle. Out of humor or nervousness, Keith wasn't sure.
The witchling shook his head. "Not really," He said. He glanced at the tracks before looking back at Keith. "I don't know what you want from me, but I've gotta go. My train is almost here."
"I can help you," Keith blurted, which made the brunet raise an eyebrow at him. "With your quest. You look like you need help."
"Rude…"
Or:
Lance is a witch going on his final quest of the school year, which is simply to find a problem and solve it with magic. Easy as that. Except for Lance, it’s not, even with his new shifter companion, who he’s still not totally sure how he feels about. And Keith? Keith isn’t sure why he wants to help Lance, but he does anyway, and in the end, he’s glad he did.
