To be clear, we all recognize that it'd be weird if the LCB is even physically capable of doing the walp story right? Like, leaving aside the obvious tonal whiplash between the end there and funny haha walpurgis, when would they even do it??? Wouldn't the guys kinda decide to hold them too for being associated with their target and possibly being culpable for his violating the terms of his parole????? Are they gonna do a flashback? Is it set before this happened? I don't know dog

As Dr. Ratio processes the results of the most recent Cyclical Extrapolation, a calamity strikes the very heart of scholarship: The Galactic Baseballer™ gets bored. To make matters worse, The Aventurine of Stratagems has his next assignment delayed until the slow behemoth that is the IPC's bureaucracy catches up to his revival, leaving him free to do as he wishes until then. These twin forces, so alike in potency, align to form a malignant, horrid plan: Getting Veritas Ratio out of his office for once. To this end, they prey on his valiant fight against ignorance and force (ask) him to teach them on subjects that they cannot possibly understand, commandeering a classroom in the finest University in Penacony so as to make this torture as public as possible.
Will the Trailblazer manage to not steal school supplies that they will never use? Will Aventurine stop flirting with the man who is now his teacher? Will Veritas manage to survive the coming migrane? Will anyone actually learn anything? The answer to all these questions is probably no! But they might. Maybe.

Callisto wanted to see more.
As he stands in his ruined gallery, his apprentice torn to shreds, and his body weakened, all he can think of is just what he could have done equally to see more and to create that artwork everyone could have apricated. With his request to hear about that horrid and wonderful sights, all he can think of is what he did wrong. In that moment of self-realization, an epiphany is reached. One that gives him the strength to try and force those sights into his view, if only for a brief moment.
But by doing so, he's gone against the script and messed with powers beyond his comprehension. That act caused him to be flung through the worlds until he lands somewhere...strange. Not at all like the city, and yet a new ruin is upon it. So many different hues and shades to see, all while he learns to find new forms of beauty. Not just in the corpus that he crafts, but in the strange people that he will be surrounded by.
By contrast, Sam wants to not be murdered and turned into a meat statue by the strange 9ft tall robotic diva artist that's crashing at his house.
