Dave closes his eyes at the moment of impact as his hands try to pull the sheet out from under him.
But then John sees the erection in his pants, which Dave tries to shamefully cover with his hands. But what's done is done and there's no going back to when they were just laughing and being silly like real best friends do, to Dave's despair.
John's eyes widen, and Dave wants to bury himself in a hole and never come out. The headlines would later tell about a kid who was never seen again after dying of humiliation in a hole no one remembers where it is.
