Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen was the first child born after the death of Balerion the Black Dread, more dragon than girl in truth. Dragons, by nature, are possessive, protective creatures, and Rhaenyra knows that the Realm will not accept her simply because her father declared it to be, and she will not allow her children, even the ones not of her womb, to be harmed.
Her father delights in it. The Realm whisper about her kindness. Otto is his normal self. Gwayne's just along for the ride. Laenor is having a grand old time. Daemon, eventually, despairs because there are so many children. In the end, they'll all be grateful for it, because no brother, no son, would dare steal from the woman who raised him.

Summary
A murderous teacher. A haunting specter. Adelia Potter had survived them both, and yet, the one that might break her spirit entirely is the recently escaped mass-murderer Sirius Black. They said Hogwarts would be safe, because where was safer than Hogwarts, especially with Dumbledore at the helm? But Adelia had long ago sopped believing in safety.
Now in her third year, with growing powers she doesn't understand, a supposed raving lunatic trying to hunt her down to finish what his inept, noseless Dark Lord couldn't, Adelia seeks refuge in the shadows that seem to grow toward her. The memories of the previous year linger, and when her friends begin to fracture, when the truth beneath the presumptions becomes to hard to ignore, Adelia endures because what other choice does she have? If she gave up, she let Voldemort win, and Adelia Potter did so very much hate losing.

Summary
Having survived her first year, Adelia wanted nothing more than to return to Hogwarts. It was safer there, for there she would be out of reach of both Voldemort and the Dursleys. She didn't imagine that a barmy house-elf, a precious snake, and a series of petrification's would prove her wrong, and yet once again she is thrust into the centre of mystery.
It's a good thing she's got faithful friends and an insatiable thirst to protect, and a nifty little diary she found that was definitely written by somebody who was most assuredly brilliant and mad.

Meanwhile, the Jedi search high and low for their stolen youngling, and the Mand'alor looks for his stolen son.

Summary
There was a reason Colin and Jamie were always seen together in the early days. Both of them were similar, both of them lying to themselves and others about who exactly they were. Liars had to stick together, but sometimes the truth could be found if only one knew where to look. Colin knew where to look. Even back then, before everything, he'd seen glimpses of the Jamie that would be known.
But the journey isn't easy, not when the darkness clouds Jamie with a lingering, suffocating pain. There are trials and triumphs, desolation and despair, yet there is hope. Hope that flourishes in dark, quiet nights spent together, hope that burns as bright as a supernova, illuminating the path forward so that maybe those two liars can finally be honest, not just with themselves and one another, but with the family that's grown around them.

Summary
On the night that Lily and James Potter die, Death walked the mortal world. Disgusted by one man's foul acts to defy the inevitable, Death murmured their first blessing in over a thousand years. That single blessing, or some may thing it a curse, changes many things though not all can be seen at once. That blessing is the centre of a rippling pond of possibilities, scattering the future into the unknown.
One thing is promised however: The Lord of the Inevitable is not to be defied.

Summary
All communities have stories, that is a fact of life. The Jedi are no different, despite what the Galaxy at large may think. They are a community bound by something more precious than blood. They are teachers, guardians, brothers and sisters.
They are family.
In one universe, they are a family annihilated, butchered by those they trusted most, by one they trusted the most. This is not that story.
No. This is a story of family, of history, of culture and tradition. This is a story of how a single entity long though annihilated, a Sithspawn of Stewjon, will stop the murder of his family, of his culture and his people.
This is the story of the Sith's long-awaited plan and how it comes crashing down.

Summary
Soulmates are nothing more than a fanciful idea of romanticism. They aren't real, found only in legends and trashy romance holo-novels. There is no force in the galaxy that can cause love where love does not exist, cause hate where hate does not linger. It should have been easy to hate each other, and it was, but perhaps it was just as easy to love each other too.
Whatever love meant to men like them, for they were little more than monsters and demons, beasts and specters with the face of men. It was a twisted thing, bound in blood, in their withering, blackened souls and the haunting, screaming cadence of the Force. It was theirs, however, its passion and obsession, its wrathful, vengeful flames. It was theirs, cold and creeping, insidious and all consuming.
The Galaxy had never stood a chance. The Resistance never stood a chance. Snoke never stood a chance.

Summary
All that was required to avert the Dance of the Dragons was a daughter born of Old Valyria, a child not beholden to the whims and wiles of Destiny and Fate. A daughter born under the same omen that led to the Targaryens being the last dragon lords. With the family united, can the threats be abated?
How does a single child change the fate of her house, once destined to have brother turn against sister, that would lead to the extinction of their precious dragons, their ruination, and their own usurpation?
It turns out the answer is Targaryen Realness and Dysfunction, and an unhealthy dose of magic and weirdness.

Summary
When he's transported from Nassau to Jamaica, Charles Vane does not expect to leave the jail in Port Royal alive. When he's released as part of a prisoner exchange agreement at the end of the war -
There might, he thinks, just possibly be something wrong with him, because he is about to go rescue James Flint from slavery with the help of a princess and an admiral of the English fleet, and he’s not quite certain but he thinks he may even have been sober when he agreed to do it.

Summary
"How did you get them?" Vane asks, as Thomas drops the keys into his open palm. Behind him, he can see the distant glow of firelight, small but spreading, and he thinks he already knows the answer.
Thomas smiles. "Kerosine."
His hair falls into his eyes, white blonde from the Savannah sunlight, and for a moment he sees the ghost of Eleanor Guthrie at eighteen years old, baring her teeth in a grin.
OR: There is no Woodes Rogers to save Eleanor Guthrie's life. There are no men to repair the fort. Charles Vane comes up with a new way to recruit workers to Nassau.

Summary
“If I leave them here, will you bathe on your own?” she asks. Flint does not answer, and she feels something catch in her throat. He will not, she knows - he has not taken the effort to so much as remove his shirt or attempt to deal with his bleeding wounds, preferring instead to sit, exhausted, on the barrel, staring into the middle distance, contemplating God alone knows what. She cannot blame him - there has been much to think on this day. She herself cannot put out of her mind just how close she has come to losing this - to losing him.
Madi decides not to be sent away after her rescue. When she returns to Skeleton Island, she finds a betrayal in progress and takes steps to save her friend and put her people's choice regarding the war back in their hands.

Perfectly Platonic Photobooth Panic by flechesdargent (644reasonswhy)

Summary
Lewis drags Nico into a photobooth.
The FIA drags the evidence into the archive.
The grid drags them mercilessly in the group chat.History does not care about the gala. It does not care about the winners of the 2015 F1 season (which, tragically, were also them— so really, the suffering just doubled down).
History will remember nothing but Frame 5.
And no, it wasn’t platonic. Not even close. The photos? Not perfect. The title? A lie. I’m lying. This entire summary is lying. It’s absurd false advertising from start to finish.
This is the photobooth fic nobody asked for, but everybody deserves. The only things real here are Photos and Panic. You can lie to yourself, but you cannot lie to receipts.
The photobooth? Absolutely not.
The photobooth is not your friend. We do not perceive the photobooth. The photobooth is evil.Bookmarked by Aethir
