Summary
“Sorry” the apothecary finds himself backtracking, acknowledging he’s crossed a line – they weren’t really friends, let alone something like “lovers”. That outcome would require a lot of projecting. They were together in this because Midoriya was convenient for the other, he could fulfil a role nobody else could. A big-headed wannabe physician. What right did he have to get all possessive over the other’s life and future? An egotistical, delusional piece of work he has become .
“Don’t be. I deserved it” Kacchan seems to be observing his scar, as if clairvoyant – walking paths whence Izuku has walked. He regrets it, that much has been said. The apothecary’s focus shifts then: to the twin scar on the warrior’s face, mirroring his own - same side and almost in the same place. More horizontal than vertical, but almost identical. They haven’t ever talked about it – Midoriya knows when it happened but haven’t dared interrogating the how.OR: Fantasy AU where Kacchan is forced into an arranged marriage and Izuku is losing his marbles about it. He has to be part of it - hence the polycule begins.

Summary
Katsuki was fourteen when he was told he'll be deaf within the next five months.
He is eighteen now, he's been fully deaf for three years, and still coped up in his own home. His parents only communicate by writing on sticky notes. They were too busy to learn sign language, as they said. He has no friends, no one to talk to.
A delivery boy changes his life with curry and patience.
OR: A Moonlight Chicken AU with a twist. (Katsuki as Heart, Izuku as Li Ming), but you don't need to know the story to enjoy this. Izuku learns sign language for Katsuki and Katsuki never had someone who would learn sign language for him.

Photographer Izuku is dropped from his publication when he gets into a social media feud with pop sensation, Katsuki, over an unflattering photo. Out of spite, he then takes a job offer from a trashy, but well-known, tabloid magazine. It's not his dream job, but he'll definitely be able to get his revenge on the singer by taking paparazzi photos and getting paid for it.
Maybe it'll blow up in his face. Maybe not.
