Summary
“Don’t worry about it,” Ronan said as he tentatively reached out to place his hand over Jasper’s resting on the table, “From what I’ve seen so far you seem to have turned out fine without him. He missed out by leaving.”
Jasper felt his heart skip another beat as he looked deep into Ronan’s beautiful hazel eyes; they reminded Jasper of a forest in the rain, radiating golden warmth and soft mossy trees. As they held eye contact the colour of his eyes shifted from an earthy brown to a mesmerizing vibrant green as the tingling warmth from Ronan’s hand over Jasper’s spread up through his arm to settle in his chest.
Gods I hope this guy doesn’t turn out to be an asshole.
He almost seems too good to be true.*****
This story is more of a romance and relationship/friendship centered murder mystery story, but is focused on the relationships mostly.
Pretty much all the characters are queer or gender fluid and supportive.

“Morning boys,” Rey said pulling the items closer to the cash register. “This is Cat, she just started this morning. She’ll be working here for the summer.”
“Hi,” Cat said to the both of them while flashing a flirty smile, her cheeks turning just a bit pink.
“Um hi, I’m Adam. This is Ryan,” Adam said lightly smacking Ryan’s chest with the back of his hand, snapping Ryan out of blatantly staring at Cat.
“Hi,” Ryan said with his heartwarming smile, making Cat’s smile grow wider as she started to punch in the prices on the cash register.
“These two are here almost every Saturday,” Rey told Cat.
“So I guess I’ll see a lot more of you over the summer then,” Cat said hopefully as she finished on the cash register and looked back up at the boys. “Your total is nineteen dollars and twenty three cents.”
