Previously titled: Pulling the Strings
A creator and his creation. A master and his pet. New lines of code meant to caress, manipulate, or attack at a whim. But when the past rears its ugly head, unwilling to let him or his project go, lies unfurl and morals become blurred. The colorful world hiding bloodied secrets written in static monochromes, and songs of forgotten pains whispered in the darkest depths.
This was his domain, rules bending to his will and his alone. Willing to cross lines to protect what was rightfully his, and to finish what they started. Nothing was going to get in his way.

Val (Reader) knew what she was getting into doing this. It wasn't the first and she doubted it'd be the last. So why was she nervous? There was no reason to be. Even if she didn't see him she still had a job to do. God she hoped she saw him. Did he miss her? Likely not, but she certainly missed his cock. Cocks. All are ignorant of the world surrounding them and are fed sweetened lies. Questions met with blood-tainted threats; there is no escape. Recovery is believed to be impossible, unaware of those who thrive in far-off lands. Yet, when three newcomers arrive to fight in hell's arena, the boy's world is forever changed. And hope may finally reignite the heart of the cold, long-lost city.

Summary
Grant, a 47-year-old technology magnate and founder of C&A, is going through a divorce from his wife Queenie and lives for visits with his young daughter. One day he takes her to «The Amazing Digital Circus,» where the ringmaster, a man with mismatched eyes and theatrical flair named Caine, steals his passport just to learn his name. Grant is furious, but the incident sets off a chain of events: Caine starts waiting for him outside his office, they flee a café without paying, and slowly begin to grow closer. Grant invites Caine to an art gallery, where he tries to introduce him to culture, while Caine's spontaneity melts the ice between them.
