那不是他常见的巴西人温暖的棕色或黑色，而是一种奇特的、沉静的灰绿色——像被时光打磨光滑的橄榄石，蕴藏着某种古老而温柔的光泽；又像雨季结束时，瀑布上空被水汽氤氲了的森林，神秘而幽深。那双眼睛嵌在有些忧郁的五官间，带着一种与周遭热烈氛围格格不入的冷静与倦意，仿佛看透了太多风浪，最终归于一片深邃的湖泊。
少年感觉自己像是被一道无声的闪电迎面劈中，僵在原地。心脏在胸腔里失速狂跳，撞击着肋骨，声音大得他怀疑整个花园都能听见。他身上还带着机油、汗水和阳光混合的气息，此刻却因为这双眼睛，生平第一次感到了某种近乎狼狈的自惭形秽。
