Summary
Mike Wheeler and Will Byers have been dating in secret for months.
The problem?
They're terrible at keeping secrets.
What starts as a relationship known only to the two of them quickly spirals out of control when Nancy and Jonathan walks in on them making out. With every accidental discovery, Mike and Will become more convinced that Hawkins might actually be incapable of keeping a secret.
As college approaches and the future gets closer, the boys find themselves navigating first loves, awkward conversations, supportive friends, protective siblings, embarrassing interruptions, and the terrifying reality of letting the people they love know who they really are.
A story about being found out, being accepted, and realizing that maybe the people who love you were always going to stay.
Or:
Mike and Will need to be more careful of where they make-out.

Summary
Before Mike left for school the next morning, he looked positively giddy in his new outfit and ‘masculine’ cologne. Karen almost made him pose for a picture because of how handsome he looked, but she didn’t want to risk losing the mom points she’d worked so hard to earn the night before. Karen was really starting to gain confidence in her assumption about it being for a new girl. She was vaguely aware that Mike had a little girlfriend in the past—some puppy love situation—but obviously, he had his eye on someone new now.
What threw her for a loop, however, was when Mike carefully selected one of his new outfits and spent twenty whole minutes in front of the mirror just to hang out with Will.

Summary
“If you say another one,” Will says, voice low. “I’ll keep taking my clothes off.”
Mike raises a brow, suddenly very interested in the art of self-love. “Are you bribing me to compliment myself with your body? You know that’s my number one weakness.”
“Precisely.”
The truth is, Mike doesn’t need to think about it when something precious is on the line.
“I am enough,” he says.
OR: Mike is assigned homework in therapy, and Will is happy to help him see it through.

Summary
“You’re enough,” he says, for the second time that night, and there’s no room for doubt anywhere in his voice.
Mike can only shake his head. Tears slip down his cheeks as his lips wobble helplessly. “I’m not.”
Will watches him for a moment before speaking again.
“Talk to me.” His voice is still breathy and weak, the words almost getting lost between shallow breaths. “I love talking to you.”
Mike lets out a laugh through his tears. “I love talking to you too,” he says, wiping uselessly at his face. “I love talking to you more than anyone else.”
or, in which will byers is injured in the upside down and mike wheeler has to keep him conscious in his own way.
