Summary
Contained herein you will find a series of very short stories presented as if Caduceus was telling them to The Nein about his family, maybe at night around a campfire or while on watch with one or two of them. I had too many fun little world building ideas that wouldn't all fit together under one plot, so instead they've became this collection. Think about it as something Caduceus does to pass down the memory of his family and continue practicing an old family tradition of oral forms of cultural knowledge. And just because he's proud of his family and wants to talk about them sometimes.

This fic imagines the cast of Critical Role in the world and scenarios of the critically acclaimed 90s teen sci-fi series Animorphs.
It's format is very specific, and is halfway a parody of Animorphs and many 90s teen series in general, and thus can be best appreciated by people who know Animorphs well enough to understand the places where I'm mimicking a certain style. If you don't know Animorphs, though, I think you'll still get something out of the way I translated these characters to goofy traumatized teens.The fic is broken out into five chapters, each including a short excerpt from the same imaginary Animorphs book. Each excerpt is a different part of what I'd consider the core formula of the series. This was my way of getting all the good ideas I had for different parts of this world without having to write an entire book. There may or may not be a fifth fight-scene done in the future, we'll have to see how I feel.

Caduceus has been home with his family for a month now, and it's been a perfect adjustment. Just great, absolutely wonderful. He definitely doesn't miss any of the Nein to the point of heartache and even if he did he wouldn't feel guilty about it. All of his siblings are also perfect and completely well-adjusted and trauma free, and everything is back to exactly 100% the way it was before they left.
A late-night argument leads to some spontaneous hair care and a much needed conversation.
