He felt the lingering ache where the curse had made contact, he felt the cold, hard railing dig into the small of his back as his balance tipped over. And he felt himself fall, the wind swept his hair and robes as gravity worked to close the distance between him and the ground below.
Yet his mind stayed clear despite the curse, his consciousness held on against all odds.

A series of what I hope will be four fics of my take on slightly differed variations of the hanahaki trope. Because seriously, there's not enough sfth fics and a lack of hanahaki trope among them. So, here's my contribution, if procrastination doesn't take me first....
I plan for these to all be separate stories, and meant to be read separately, but we'll see if I actually get there. Honestly, this is the most I've written for any fandom, wish me luck! :')
