“My people are going to assume you are female when they see you,” says Sinestro. “Do not take offense.”
“Female?” repeats Hal. “Me? Why?”
Sinestro drifts a little closer until he’s near enough to tap a slender finger against Hal’s forehead. It takes Hal a moment to understand his meaning.
“Are you serious?” Hal begins to laugh, but then he realizes something. “Wait. Is that why you—you—you thought I was a girl!”
Sinestro looks flustered, which is a new experience for Hal. “You have a very small forehead.”

Sinestro can't figure out if all humans are this confusing or if it's just Hal Jordan. Either way, the new Lantern the Guardians placed in his care is fast becoming more than he ever bargained for... but maybe that's a good thing. His sense of timing could probably use some work, however.
