Jean Grey knew that with had happened at the DoDC incident. She really couldn’t be much longer in New York, it wouldn’t be long after Metzger or someone worse went after her again. However as dumb as it was for, and she knew it was more then likely going to end up badly, she didn’t trust Peter (from what she had seen in his mind) for him to stay in bed even one or two days for her to be able to leave in Peace, because she knew he wasn’t going to take his time and rest and jump back into fighting crime. So for now she would stay until he was back in his top fighting condition or so she said

She needed to plunge deeper into his self... to the point they become one and his heart and blood trick themselves into thinking they beat and circle for her...
She told herself she's not invading his mind, just his everything else. She will not dig around for anything. Just here to keep her savior alive... Peter's memories brought themselves to her regardless. And this time she had no choice but to watch as they drift by... And some of them are very embarrassing as well.
