Summary
His second year with Geralt is as delightful as the first, and he even gets to ride Roach for a week after a tumble leaves him with a sprained ankle that won’t hold his weight. He feels rather like a princess in a fairytale, barely resisting the urge to wave at the plebeians around him while passing by to invite them to gaze upon his delightful self. His noble knight could stand to be a little less scowly and slap-y when Jaskier tries to take the reins for himself, but needs must, and at least Geralt looks the part, with all of that lovely silver hair and his very well-tailored trousers.
Their second year is also when he finally manages to find a key to finding out more about Geralt: his pupils.
(Geralt is the exact opposite of an open book) (Luckily, his eyes say plenty)

Summary
Fleeing the armies of Nilfgaard, who think he must know where Geralt and Ciri are, Jaskier can think of only one place to go...but that means intruding on the home of a man who wants nothing more to do with him.
He'll make it work somehow.
Geralt hasn't heard any news of his bard since the disastrous dragon hunt. He's tired, half-starved, and responsible for a traumatized princess. But Kaer Morhen might hold more than safety - it might hold hope.

Summary
Someone is knocking on the large, wooden double doors that serve as the entrance to Kaer Morhen. In the middle of winter. In the middle of a blizzard.
The witchers move almost as one, grabbing their weapons. They make their way to the door, Geralt stepping up and preparing to open it as the others fall into formation behind him, ready for a fight. Geralt opens the door.
On the other side, Geralt sees… well, Geralt thinks he sees Jaskier, though he looks different, very different. Smells different, even.
“Jaskier?” Geralt asks, startled.
Jaskier smiles widely at him. Terrifyingly, there is blood in his teeth.
“I brought you a present,” Jaskier says, nonsensically.
For years, Jaskier has been silently telling Geralt he loves him. Only, certain secrets have always prevented Geralt from understanding. But now those secrets are out, and there are two cats loose in Kaer Morhen.
