Jaybird would have strangled him for leaving Bruce with a perverted alien, but if those two finally talk sincerely about their feelings and then make ... what they will have to do (he won't think of the word sex and Bruce in the same sentence, absolutely not), ending up keeping their heads in the ass, well, it would have been a necessary evil.

"Robin," he replied unperturbed, taking his usual seat next to Superman, who kept staring at him as if he were having a religious experience.
Green Lantern was the first to react, "Wait a moment! Wasn't Robin that blonde girl I saw when I had to pick up an alien criminal hiding in Gotham?"
"A blonde girl?" Green Arrow repeated. "Robin is a teenager. He's Speedy's best friend."
"I met Robin," Wonder Woman chimed in. "A sweet little boy. A big fan of mine, but he's not a teenager."
While the voices of the Lega became louder and louder, until Damian woke up completely, Batman groaned internally.
He didn't want to explain anything about his private affairs. Besides, there wasn't much to explain in the first place: he had told the truth. Just, not as everyone expected.

No intelligible response came from the nest, except grunts, and Jason, next to him, mocked him, "I told you it would happen. In two years, he would have found a nicer one to replace me."
"Jaybird, that's not the case," he said, wondering how he had become the voice of reason at nineteen. Was it an omega thing? Did you suddenly become balanced and responsible? Not that Dick called himself balanced, especially mentally, but he was fiercely protective of his pack – Bruce, Jason and the Titans alike – and tended to be overprotective.
Bruce was also an omega, and as much as he tended to be a paranoid bastard, he could also make foolish choices.
Like to go out when he knew his heat was about to arrive and impress himself on the first small child he had the misfortune to cross.

He swallowed, "Krypto."
"Krypto... seriously?"
"Um...in my defense, I didn't pick the name," he muttered. He couldn't even fault Kara for choosing the name, not when it was clear how much she missed their home world and the only consolation, aside from alcohol, was that dog.
"I see..." the vigilante said, then, looking at the dog, said, "Krypto. Down."
He was about to tell him it wouldn't work. Krypto didn't listen to anyone, not even Clark's parents. But something incredible happened.
The dog dropped the thief and flew in front of Batman. As if it was natural!
