Post-Gaea, post everything (kinda, time skips around), Perseus the Scourge of the North, magic World Tree weapons, Percy is the demigod son of Aegir (Norse god/Giant of the seas), a whole country's worth of murder and fighting, Author has an OC to take PJO!Percy's place in the plot (Alex Jackson)

Perseus is born to a Norse slave - his mother dies early in his childhood, so he has to fight to keep himself alive
The Viking Chief/King of their clan finds Perseus' spark of defiance useful in helping his own son become a strong leader, and makes a deal with Perseus (Percy's freedom relies on acting like a brother and a refining fire for the Chief's son)
Percy gets a mission from the Norse gods regarding the war against the Saxons - he is led to believe that it's possible to win the war, if he agrees to become the gods' weapon (leading to Percy fighting in a multi-layered war with mortal Saxons, as well as against the demigod children of the Greek & Roman Pantheons) to decide the fate of England
After a lot of loss & bloodshed, Percy is successful in killing the Saxon king - however, it's revealed that the king was a son of Athena // to forge a peace treaty between the Norse & Greek/Roman pantheons, Percy is "gifted" to the Olympians to act as a sacrifice (which was the Norse's plan all along: forge Percy into a killer so terrifying that the Olympians would jump at a chance to be rid of him)
Percy is denied an execution (as he would have gone to Valhalla), and is instead sentenced to partial immortality & frozen inside a glacier for a thousand years - his prison was moved to Alaska (when the Olympians came to America) and was breached by an AWOL Roman demigod around the 60s
Percy is not particularly thrilled with demigods from any Pantheon (nor the gods they are attached to), and spent the years catching up on modern inventions & brutally murdering any demigod that is sent to try to kill/capture him
Post-Gaea War, a new threat has emerged in the form of a demigod cult following the word of "The Alchemist," who has begun to mine for Mariana Blackstone and gather extremely potent magical ingredients - Annabeth & Alex Jackson are sent to Alaska to try to recruit Percy, since he's the most dangerous demigod currently available, and is a child of the Sea/able to survive the Mariana Trench

Percy is a regular mortal (blessed by Ares & Poseidon) as the last surviving Spartan, he sought immortality to eternally serve the gods & keep the flame of Sparta alive through his works and service, he is gifted partial immortality (can still be slain in battle, similar to the Hunters) -- he meets Zoe early in his adventure, then they meet up again a couple thousand years in the future as the PJO plot picks up

After sacrificing himself to save Apollo, Meg, and Piper from Caligula, Jason is transported to Ancient Greece, in an alternate universe where demigods are extremely rare due to the sheer difficulty of a successful demigod pregnancy.
The exact location and time period he's been transported to? Smack in the middle of The Odyssey on Odysseus' ship, right before the crew lands on Helios' island. And when Zeus arrives to cast judgement, he comes face-to-face with a demigod, young and mortal and inexplicably, undeniably his.
Jason thinks that Zeus couldn't care less about him.
Unfortunately for him, he's about to be proven very, very wrong.
