“So…how long have you been single for?
Buck’s become a bit bored of being asked this every Friday night at the local decent-ish restaurant, surrounded by other single women, and the occasional man. Don’t get it twisted— Buck’s not necessarily unhappy with being single, Tommy wasn’t exactly the textbook romance he had in mind, though neither were Abby, or Ali, Taylor, or Natalia…But speed-dating in LA is a hell of a lot more interesting than swiping left and right on Tinder (or sometimes Grindr) he supposes.
It’s just— after weeks of moving from table to table, being asked the same boring questions, it really grinds you down a bit.
Sometimes you can strike lucky though.
If you’re really really lucky, that is.

Time seemed to slow down as a man appeared in Buck’s eyeline; a man who, to Buck’s horror, was incredibly attractive.

This guy stands somewhere around six-foot, with brown hair, tanned skin, brown eyes; fanned by long eyelashes, and a moustache that could only be described as downright slutty. His LAFD supplied shirt lies tightly against his muscular figure; rippling with every movement, and his pants—fuck, they sit snug around a nice ass.
