Summary
Reina Mercer is an Asian-American girl from the mean streets of LA. Before that, she was a white girl who died to a speeding truck, and all of this Jujutsu Sorcery shit would have gotten her excited if that excitement hadn't been burned out of her by the world. Now, all she wants is the employment that becoming a Jujutsu Sorcerer provides.
Unfortunately, the year is 2005 and her Technique allows her to summon military drones.
Saddled with an inconvenient amount of competency and more than a little trauma, she finds herself stuck in web of curse bullshit, political intrigue, and Satoru Gojo in the unfathomably-annoying flesh. Being a sorcerer might beat homelessness in Los Angeles, but collecting on that six-figure paycheck for a guaranteed comfortable life is gonna be a bit hard.
If Reina Mercer wants to get her boring, comfortable life, she'll have to dig out that future-knowledge and see if she can't put it to work.

But instead of panicking and having an existential crisis like one should after being dropped in a body that’s not their own and already belongs to someone and no memories of before, and being an infamous ancient living natural disaster that didn’t have much will to live either… I mean the list really just goes on—They cope, as well as the author allows.
No more school or stressful extracurriculars, just watch a high schooler go to magic jujutsu school, sounds easy enough, (but no one told them about the boredom to the point where you WANT the school.)
Until one day, they can’t. Because this is Jujutsu Kaisen.

The plot doesn’t go downhill, or uphill even—whatever that one means, sounds worse actually—but let’s say we’re going uphill and downhill both ways.
