Within 6 months, 40,000 people would arrive, and within a year, a hundred thousand. Someday far in the future, the place where Steve and Bucky stood would birth a new state and become the city of Denver, Colorado.
Gold can do a lot of things. Give someone dreams, buy a new life, build a new nation, and turn even the most staunch of men into fools. But while gold makes men do crazy things, love makes them even crazier.
