Summary
After the destruction of Atlas and Mantle, Raven Branwen is left to process the potential demise of her daughter, Yang. With the world now aware of Salem, everyone is heading to Vacuo for what they all believe to be the final stand against the Queen of the Grimm. Raven, after much time to think on it, decides to finally rejoin the fight after so long, but she's not going alone. There to protect her is a very powerful warrior that has a very startling resemblance to her. In this tale, buried secrets come to light, families are put to the test, division must be kept to a minimum, and one young man with the most powerful semblance in history must do everything in his power to get through it all whilst juggling family troubles and forming new bonds. Nigel Uno, formerly known as Earth's KND Operative Numbuh One, has been with the Galactic Kids Next Door for a few months now, and he's finding it all a bit far-fetched. For one, he's been put at the backline doing janitorial duty instead of taking the fight to them in the frontlines!
The other? Well, he's been nothing but bored! Being in space, doing nothing but Janitorial duty, just... rubs him the wrong way.
Of course, it all changed very fast when, during a routine cleanup mission at the edge of the galaxy, Nigel's small team is attacked and stranded the two on a seemingly deserted planet, but it's anything but.
A planet filled with monsters that the Kids Next Door would shiver at, Adults fighting with advanced weaponry and giant machines, Robot Girls with too much personality and huggability, and very, very cold weather.
... It's just one of those days, isn't it? Well, He's not going down so easily!
