Her parents had given her nothing, not even a roof over her head. But the Bachelor was an idiot. He didn’t remind her of these things to hurt her. He reopened wounds in ignorance. He had no idea Clara had been disowned, and she wasn’t about to tell him.

Dankovsky finds out that Clara has been living on the streets after being disowned and takes her in. Along the way, they must work together to stop the Saburovs from destroying the Cathedral.
