Can Amy keep the girls from being taken by an (almost) all knowing demi-God? On the one hand, up until now nothing could stop Amy from taking whatever she wanted. On the other, she always did have a weak spot when it came to blondes.
Tl;dr - the only two women in the Stutterer Extended Universe to ever break Taylor fight one another, and winner takes all.
Trigger warning - cute “she actually wanted it all along” dub-con sided with intentionally unpleasant “no, she actually really didn’t want this and she’s going through a traumatic event right now” non-con. Also underage sex, mind break, and helplessness.

Summary
The Brockton Bay Brigade was fed bad information, and so attacked the wrong target, but still form New Wave despite their blunder. Marquis doesn't end up getting sent to the Birdcage and so remains entrenched, though as a single parent.
Taylor doesn't end up going to summer camp, which might have ended up better for her and Emma had the attack over the summer of 2009 not turned out so much worse.

Summary
A few weeks after Amy was nearly hit by a stray bullet during a raid by the Merchants on Brockton General, a horrifying new cape has begun to stalk her. Any gang members or villains that dare to try and bring their criminal activities too close to Panacea are set upon by swarms of insects. She keeps seeing a dark, yellow-lensed mask watching her from the shadows before the figure wearing it disappears in a tide of Bugs.
Meanwhile Taylor is glad to finally get a chance to be a hero, having decided that protecting Brockton Bay's one-of-a-kind healing cape is a much more effective way of saving lives than just running around looking for crimes to stop. Besides, it gives her a chance to payback her new favorite hero, Panacea, for healing her. Now if only she could find a good way to convince the heroes that she's on their side.
Or, after being partially destroyed in preparation for its role in this cycle, the Administrator shard bargains for aid from the Shaper in an attempt to restore at least a little of its lost functionality. The only thing the Shaper asks for in return is for the Administrator to direct its soon-to-be host to prompt the Shaper's own host into providing better data.
