Summary
Wei Ying is bursting with excitement. His cheeks hurt, he can’t stop grinning. It’s still crazy he ended up here, and he will make the most out of it. Maybe he will even meet the love of his life, who knows! He chuckles at the thought. Probably not.
Wei Ying rubs his hands over his pants and looks back to the path. The next person is coming. Long hair is swept by the wind, something is fluttering behind them. They seem tall and athletic.
“Oh wow,” the woman beside him says under her breath.
This has to be the most beautiful man I have ever seen, Wei Ying thinks. He looks like a model ready for a shot at the beach. He wears white linen pants and some kind of half see-through top in light blue. The fluttery thing behind him is a white ribbon. His jaw looks chiseled from stone, he has prominent cheekbones, a straight nose and his eyes are piercing, as he looks around the gathered people. He bows to them in greeting and meets their eyes. When he sees Wei Ying, he startles. Wei Ying is also shocked. Instead of bursting out his name and jumping from his seat, he just nods and smiles even wider.---
