   Summary

   What if Klay decided that being a married woman in this era was better than being branded as a loose woman who jumped from one man’s house to another?

   What if instead of pushing to stay with Ibarra after she was thrown out of Maria Clara’s house by Padre Damaso, Klay took Fidel’s offer to stay at his casa, with an additional caveat - they would get married.
