Summary
Dexter Morgan was many things: a son, a brother, a disgraced detective's son, a serial killer in training, and now a pastor's son. He was nineteen years old and forced into a very odd box of normalcy from his father. Thou shall not murder need not apply but Harry drew the line at Dexter dating men. Pastor Harry Morgan had once threatened Dexter to becoming his church's youth pastor. Dexter Morgan would rather do gay porn under his real name than be a youth pastor. In an argument, that is brought up again and Dexter goes to a gay bar and club to spite his father. He is on a mission to hook up with someone who Harry would loathe. After commiserating with his best friend, the bartender over a shot of whiskey, he sees that man. An enigma named Brian Moser, who was the most beautiful thing that Dexter had seen. Dexter finally learned what 'love at first sight' meant.

Summary
Brian Moser doesn't know how to feel now that he has what he wants even with the caveats like having to be a part of Harry's church and his lessons. His only weapon he can use against the disgraced detective predicatively pastor is his words. Harry throws him to the wolves when he introduces him at church as a 'lost soul' and 'orphan'. Brian cannot even tell the truth to Dexter or Harry would murder him and get away with it. He braves Dexter's strange world to be with him even if it's a beige abyss.
