Summary
Taking this form, this beautiful Annatar, to seduce Celebrimbor to create these rings was going so well that Sauron may as well seduce him into other things. Where was the harm in that? These things took time, what else could they do while they waited for the metal to cool? Sauron could think of a better task for those clever, nimble fingers. Sauron always did like beautiful things, and the elf in front of him was no exception.

”So much tension, you are brimming with it, almost boiling over but never letting it spill out into your work,” Annatar took hold of his face, forcing him to meet striking grey eyes. “This can’t be good for the rings, my friend. You must put this energy somewhere else.”
Celebrimbor found himself nodding, yes, this made so much sense, Annatar always made sense. Celebrimbor could feel it, the anger, the frustration, the overwhelming need to get this perfect, and to not rest until it was so. Surely all this, all these emotions couldn't be his alone? Something or someone must be feeding this rage, this desperation, adding to his own until it was all too much. He must be able to give some of it away, get rid of it, put it anywhere, release it from his mind and body somehow.
Annatar’s soft hands covered Celebrimbor's shaking ones, bringing them up to press his palm on Annatar’s smooth, flawless cheek.
“Where?” Celebrimbor asked, searching in Annatar’s eyes for the answer.
“Me."
