if you were wondering, "is this series dead? the author hasn't updated in approximately 700 months" the answer is no the author is just a garbage fire who had the worst case of writer's block and was apparently waiting for last jedi to come out to see what luke skywalker had to say. turns out: luke skywalker says none of that.

and then philip pullman had to go and release book of dust, which means the author HAD to reread his dark materials BEFORE she could read book of dust, and then she had to completely redo the loose outline she had made for the rest of this series. the good news is...well, the new plan is better. now she just has to write it down.
