Summary
House's personal favorite uses include, “Hey honey, I’m home!” when he can hear Wilson pattering around in the kitchen while soft Broadway music plays, and, “Hi, honey, how are the kids?” when Wilson calls him to demand he get his ass to work now, or the ducklings might kidnap him in House's place.
A joking parallel, far too sickly sweet to ever be real. What kind of a person with a degree and a brain and would use the word honey for their husband? Yuck.

Summary
Wilson passes it off as sleepiness despite being wide awake when he mumbles, “Baby, can you pass me my book?” He holds out a hand, letting his eyes stay open as slits. As if he’s not paying acute attention to House’s soap opera rerun.
Out of the corner of his eye, he watches the way House melts, staring at Wilson’s profile with wide eyes and a hitch of breath—only because he thinks Wilson’s not looking back.
