Summary
Kaveh wears a bit of lace, and Alhaitham coincidentally develops a newfound appreciation for aesthetics.
“Your shirt is new,” Alhaitham says.
“It is,” Kaveh confirms. “But it’s not a shirt.”
“A bodysuit, then.”
Kaveh hums. “That’s technically right. Although, this doesn’t provide quite as much…” He forms a circle with his thumb and forefinger. “Coverage, as an ordinary bodysuit.”
With a wink, he sits back and reaches for Alhaitham’s cup of wine. His words sink in, and it suddenly feels like the room is sweltering. “Lingerie,” Alhaitham mutters, jaw clenched.
“Mm.” Kaveh swirls the wine in Alhaitham’s cup, eyes glinting in the honeyed tavern light. “Lingerie.”

Summary
Kaveh wears a new outfit in the bedroom, at Alhaitham’s request—but if Alhaitham wants to see it in action, he’ll need to demonstrate patience first. (And that’s no easy matter, for a man who refuses to wait.)
“Now,” Kaveh says, “what were you trying to ask me a few moments ago, when you broke my rule so eagerly?”
Alhaitham takes his time before answering, and Kaveh tries not to laugh with satisfaction. It’s nice to see him show some respect to his senior, for once. “How should I ask you for permission to speak?”
“Hm? Oh, I see.” Kaveh lightly trails his knuckles down Alhaitham’s cheek, watching Alhaitham’s eyelashes flutter in response. “It’s very simple: you don’t. I’ll give you permission if I feel like you have something worth saying, and I’ll make you stay quiet if I don’t.” He grips Alhaitham’s face with one hand, fingers digging into clean-shaven cheeks. “So if I do permit you to speak, you’d better make it worth my while.”

Summary
Kaveh misbehaves in an attempt to earn some harsher punishments from Alhaitham…and thanks to that brattiness, a single orgasm now costs much, much more than Kaveh anticipated.
“I stopped by Lambad’s today, and he asked me if I wanted to pay my tab,” Alhaitham says. “Which was surprising, since I gave you clear instructions not to run up a tab this week. Do you recall the terms of our agreement?”
“You gave me an allowance for my trips to the tavern this week,” Kaveh says, “and told me to show you my leftover change after each visit, to prove that I hadn’t overspent and started a tab.”
“And what did you do after every one of your trips to the tavern this week?”
Kaveh wets his lips. “Ah…”
Alhaitham gestures to four piles of coins sitting on the table. “What are these, Kaveh?”
