Summary
After his humiliating defeat at the hands of a baby, Tom Riddle went into exile in Finland. There he found wizards and witches more amenable to his cause. Five years later, Durmstrang Institute is seized by Death Eaters. All who refuse to become followers of Voldemort, have fled to the British Isles. It is how Viktor Krum ended up going to Hogwarts, his life forever changed.
Seven years after You-Know-Who's defeat in Britain, Sirius Black gets let out of Azkaban on parole. The authorities never found Peter Pettigrew's body, and newly appointed Minister for Magic, Narcissa Malfoy, decides to reduce Black's sentence.
