Series Basics:

Marinette and Nino have been friends since they were small children - think young enough that they probably had a few baths together early on. Having had each other all these years has of course altered many of their interactions with other members of their class in the present. Marinette quickly develops a crush on her new partner, Chat Noir.

Adrien and Alya met one another a little while before they began going to the same school, at which point they formalized their best friend status. Sharing many common interests helped them to bond quickly. And of course, Alya took one look at our innocent sunshine child and immediately took him under her wing. (Not that he put up much resistance - he'd made a friend!) Adrien develops a crush on Marinette after meeting her at school.
