Summary
Galen Trevelyan thinks of Ostwick, where his friends are still sequestered, keeping well away from the war. He wishes, and not for the first time, that more Circles had been like Ostwick, and fewer like Kirkwall. Mage Trevelyan's story, revealed through letters, documents, and narrative.
(See my series note for some of the things I've reflected on and struggled with in writing a softened version of Ostwick. Comments welcome about all that.)

Summary
It's obvious. This Herald of Andraste has no overarching strategy nor well-considered plan to speak of. He's got nothing at all beyond a glowing left hand and a knack for closing rifts. He is rather charming, however.

Summary
Two alternate timelines. Two versions of Dorian. But why is the other one so disgustingly perfect?
Fate and the Fade bring them all together. And so Dorian of pre-relationship Dorian/Bull meets established relationship Dorian/Trevelyan. It's all very annoying at first.
Works as a stand-alone fic, though it's also an outsider POV fic that can fit within my Trevelyan/Dorian series.

Summary
Bull looks down at Dorian. It's weird, but somewhere in their shared travels, and among all their traded insults, he realized the truth of the matter. He likes this guy. Really likes him. Like, he'd probably be hitting on him something fierce if it weren't for Trevelyan. Though, he'd have been hitting on Trevelyan, too, if it weren't for Dorian, so... kind of confusing when you think about it.

Summary
Set just before Trespasser. In Minrathous, Dorian reconnects with an old friend and tries unsuccessfully to avoid his father.
It's late afternoon in Minrathous and Dorian Pavus sits in a comfortable chair on his third floor balcony. When he looks up from his reading, he can take in the view of the grand but crumbling city, its foundations held together in some places by magic alone. His father is waiting to speak with him in the parlor downstairs, or so he's been told, but Magister Halward hasn't yet waited long enough. And so Dorian turns the page and simply keeps reading.
This reads perfectly well as a completely stand-alone fic, though it also fits within my series.

Summary
Dorian arrives at the Winter Palace three days before the start of the Exalted Council with a pair of sending crystals tucked safely in his pocket. Then Trevelyan arrives and everything changes.
Not every divide is clear and unmistakable, but some of them are. Some breaks are just as clear as the look in Halward Pavus' eyes all those years ago, shining with rage and disgust as he uttered those heartfelt words: "You're no son of mine." Just as clear as dark ink on the page — a letter in Dorian's hand, reinstating all that was taken away.
Reads perfectly well as a stand-alone fic, though it also fits within my ongoing series.

Summary
How could Linnea remember Trevelyan so clearly, with all his quirks and most grating qualities, when he'd never even known she existed? How was it that people like him always got to be the important ones?
"You don't deserve it, you know," Linnea said. "You're not a hero."

Summary
Dorian Pavus arrived in Minrathous on a balmy afternoon with a key in his pocket and Lord Trevelyan trailing along behind him like a dazzled peasant who'd never seen a real city before. It all went downhill from there.
