I think there's sometimes a temptation to water down the way either of them feel but ultimately Jason's position on killing is a really intractable conflict with him and the rest of the bats and it's important to me that it come up! of course wrangling him into any kind of coherent ideological position is its own struggle bc utrh is ultimately just "I'm killing people because I'm mad at my dad" lol. and it's always fun to write from a pov I deeply and fundamentally disagree with (stretch the writing muscles!) thanks for reading and I'm glad you enjoyed!
