I feel like every time I write about superheroes I have to have a long think about what a costume means absent the people who wear it... and obviously there's a whole ton of that with bat stuff (Jason's costume in the case, the various permutations of robin, who wears the cowl, and the cowl is a symbol for Bruce and also the symbol of something else entirely) it's a fun thing to play with!
