This fic is a short spinoff of another longer fic to show what's happening in New York City for a side couple in the main fic. The title fits nicely for what it is. I don't know what else you expected from the title other than a couple falling in love in New York City. I'm sorry you felt that it was lame, but I don't care if it's not your cup of tea, move on and find another fic that's more to your liking.
