    i remember when this fic was first posted. i just remembered it today and had to find it again, and it made me feel all the magic and butterflies it did the first time. i’ve had a major, uh, thing for fictional computers for the longest time, and hal’s a big crush of mine. you wrote him perfectly. this is sooooo good

      i know this is an old comment but if you've got a thing for fictional robots (i do too ;3) then i recommend reading sara king's outer bounds series. there is a robot in there named doberman who is a hot piece of robot ass that was almost singlehandedly responsible for my love of fictional AI and would give any robot-lover major butterflies.
