      Again, thank you so much for commenting all the way! I honestly appreciate it very much :-) I don't even know why I never felt inspired to write more for this pairing, as I hung out in the fandom for quite some time. But it felt like placing them in a happy place and then leaving them alone was enough. And their slow, tender journey towards each other was very enjoyable and wholesome.

        They're a tricky pairing because canon is so tragic, and determined to be het on top of that. Unless you're a big angst addict, or into fix-it fic, it can be more satisfying to get them with each other, and then leave them there, for sure!

        I'm not usually one for sweet and happy endings, but you wrote something that wasn't fluff, and with so wonderful a command of language and voice, it definitely didn't let me go until I was done . I'll have to see whether any of your other fandoms scratch my itch.

        (I'm glad you didn't mind me commenting a bunch. I know I feel good when I can see someone enjoying my work, so I try to do it as much as possible in return. )

          LOL It's been so long since I watched the show I completely forgot about the het! I actually got into this pairing through fandom, because when I first watched it, I wasn't all that interested in Archie and liked Mr Bush when he finally appeared. But fandom was all over Archie and infected me with it. And I'm not usually one for sweetness and fluff, either, but these boys deserve to snatch some happiness as long as they can, so there you go. Most of my stuff is not fluffy at all, and even if there's a happy ending I always infuse it with awkwardness, repression and emotional fuck-ups, because that's the sort of thing I enjoy most :-D

          Your comments honestly made my day. I know what you mean though - when I read All The Things by an author I've just discovered I feel like a stalker when I leave comments everywhere. Even though as an author I know that getting a bunch of comments is the best thing ever. And I see you've written Hornblower fics too; I'll check them out when I have a minute and make sure to leave comments, too :-)
