Dear author: I found this today and I have to say that this is, at the same time, beautiful and so sad. I love your France and how he believes in art and believes in its importance, and how he says that art doesn't have to be about beautiful things. I can feel how tired they are, and how war ends with them slowly, painfully, and how even if they are immortals there is a limit in the pain and destruction they can take.
This story made my heart clench painfully, but it is also so beautiful. That final part is just amazing, I really have no words. Thank you so much for writing it!
