    damn i can feel that enERGY in this short fic oh man ;;
    Your hook with "and they stand and stare, hearts pounding and mouths dry, eyes wide at the sight before them," really gets me (and I'm sure for many other people who dance). the imagery is so vivid. It's just one sentence but it draws the anxiety out from within, making your heart leap in anticipation oh mAN I LOVE IT
    I love how you don't even need to specify and like so many dances and groups just pop up into my head and it's so easy to mold the image. How they grow and change and shape culture across the world, even. how they could change the very lifestyle of a person (they certainly changed mine).
