Yes, og Luo Binghe wants so badly to be truly loved, but he puts no effort into returning that feeling. He doesn't bother to really learn anything about Shen Yuan (doesn't think to ask for help with creatures, doesn't even know where he'd hang out on his own, etc)
I'm torn how I think things would go down in og world with Luo Binghe dead- part of me thinks the wives would just have to weekend at Bernie's it to avoid a sudden giant power vacuum lol
Unfortunately there's not much in the way of xianxia therapy, but at least Shen Yuan has many people in his support system, and he's already got experience with unassociating his binghe from the og one. So it'll take time, but eventually he'll be able to move forward from all of this
