    damn I'm hooked. good build up of intrigue and suspense, rich atmosphere. can't wait to see what their baggage with NYC is, and why they took such different approaches to dealing with it. and i kind of love the (maybe accidental?) association of her with Chicago, where Jessica ended up in canon

      and i’m really happy the atmosphere/intrigue landed the way i hoped — there’s definitely a lot of history buried under how differently they both approach New York and everything connected to
