It would probably help if you at least send out a 'we've already filled this position at this time' thing. This is the second time I'd volunteered and didn't even get that.
I'm referring to two prior times I'd volunteered, friend. On top of the usual 'pay twice every year for the past over-a-decade to support the org' thing I've done. But you go on ahead and make your assumptions as needed. Personally, I would hope for better than the usual job-application ghosting that you get in the commercial sector, hence the comment here. I would hope you would also expect better than that.
Every application should receive an automatic confirmation email when you submit it and when final decisions are made, you should receive an acceptance or rejection.
If you did not receive one or both of these emails, contact Volunteers & Recruiting so they can follow up with you to determine what happened.
