Yes! I thought it would be interesting to explore what would happen if the notebook actually did leave a mark on Klein. The memories would surely be corrupting/damaging to his psyche, considering the way that Klein, Naya and Welch all committed suicide because of it. Dunn indeed slapped Klein to snap him out of it, thankfully before he could get completely lost. Even when dazed, I imagine him to be polite to inspectors. It's quite obvious considering their clothing and I believe both ZMR and Klein were raised to be polite to authority figures like that (outwardly. Nobody has to know about his inner thoughts unless its my soulmates AU haha)
It's interesting: I was never interested in horror before lotm, but I think it's a very interesting genre now.
